- Tell about yourself, the company and your role in the organisation?
Cees van Minnen, 47 years old, Sales Manager Belgium The Netherlands, employed at BITO systems since 1998
- How come your interest in the product / solutions / this sector?
In my job I come across a wide range of companies and industries where different approaches and solutions are needed. This offers a lot of dynamics within the job.
- What is the most complex case you have ever had? And how did you manage that?
There are a number of projects where we have done an analysis of the order and product database. Based on the result of this analysis we have made proper offers with different techniques, from relatively simple to more complex. The greatest challenge for me personally is to find the right no-nonsense solution for a client, size or complexity is less important.
- Where stands your company in 10 years?
During my professional career at BITO, our turnover has increased up to 4 times. It would be a nice goal to achieve this once more in the coming period.
- If you could start all over again, what would you have done different?
I might have started working earlier in this industry but I have a background in the electronic industry so the link to steal and plastic products was not so obvious.
The statement of Cees van Minnen:
'The standards for racks are nowadays quite suddenly changed, not all suppliers meet the high standards of The Netherlands or even offer load conditions that are too low on the pretext that the warehouse is never filled 100%. What is your attitude to such practices?'
